Center for Electrochemical Systems and Hydrogen Research
Back
Director
Zhou, Hongcai J
Description
The original purpose of CESHR was directed toward hydrogen research in electrochemical power systems, hydrogen sulfide and enhanced oil recovery, electrosynthesis and corrosion. The present focus of the Center has been modified to address fundamental scientific issues related to renewable and environmentally benign energy sources via advanced research on solar power, hydrogen storage, batteries and fuel cells. The changes were meant to modernize the Center and ensure that it remains relevant to renewable-energy and green-electrochemical needs of the country.
